Replacing my Home theater system or buying this device... mmm. It was the right choice. After a year of use it is still working well without noticeable noise or distortion. It is so small that it can be hidden behind the TV.

This device did not work for me. I was trying to get sound from my LG TV to my amp and speaks. The sound quality was extremely bad. Time for a refund.
