Bought this adapter to be used on a speaker which can only be used with the old 30 pins Apple devices. I was hoping that it would allow me to use all functions on the speaker or using the remote such as skipping songs or recharging the device while plugged in. Unfortunatly i get the message on my ipod stating that the connection is unrecognizable. So i can't skip the songs nor recharge the ipod. But i still can hear the music on the speaker. I knew that i was taking a chance when i bought this adapter so i'm not completly unsatisfied as i can still use the speaker to listen to my ipid.
