Having never used this type of kit before a manual of some sort would have been nice. Ended up working after a bunch of failed attempts and cable testing.

Confusing color-coding on the sides, had to use the pdf file linked in the description. It didn't work for me, though I think the problem is with the cable, not the jack. Otherwise it's very convenient and easy to use.

A bit snug, and so somewhat awkward to install, but this pays off by it being nice and tight and likely to withstand a lot of plugging in and out and tugging on the cable etc for years. Good purchase.
