Exceeded my expectations. Seems to remember (or lets my computer do it) what resolutions to use with what screens I plug in it. I had a scare when my external screen said "Unsupported input", but that was only due to the resolution being set too high in the computer. Hint for Linux users: be sure to have your "switch screen" keyboard shortcut well configured before plugging the external monitor or you may end up like me: nothing on the laptop (because image was being sent to external screen) and nothing on the external screen (resolution too high).

Tried several of these VGA/HDMI converters and most had problems keeping up with the data flow (only powerpoint presentations, no video). This is the first one that did the job without black-outs during presentations.

Used it on Rasperry pi and works perfect.
