This adapter works for a few hours and then the next time the computer needs to be used, the adapter says "no HDMI signal detected". This can usually be corrected by turning the monitor power on & off. However, the adapter has shut down completely twice now and that required a computer hard boot to restore the connection to the monitor. The adapter gives good video quality when it's working but the constant resetting is a pain.

Good price but I bought it to use on my old JVC tv and it didn't work. It does however, work on my newer Sony. Unfortunately, while the picture quality is good, there's two very annoying green lines running vertically down the full L/H side of the screen. No idea what the issue is. Overall, not what I had hoped for.
