Great product, works as intended. I only removed one star because the converter adds a certain delay so that when playing SNES there is a half second delay between pressing a button and the action on the screen. I have since tested the SNES on an older tv with an SVideo connection and the delay was gone. Fantastic image quality, maybe not the best solution for retro gaming...

This converter is a piece of garbage. I would expect this quality from a $30 converter but when I spend $80+, a product shouldn't degrade video quality. First, the connections are weak so that the signal drops out if you bump it. Secondly, connecting a HDMI source significantly degrades the signal when passing through the unit. Buyer beware! Do not buy this product!
