Product is very light in weight, but the LED lighting is great with different settings. Have not tried the USB outlet yet. It mentions battery back-up in the description, but not specifying anything else. I did find on the back of the unit a place to put two 'AAA' batteries. Should be clearer in the description. I like the different levels of light output, and LED being easy on the eyes. And also like having the time there as I can get working away on something and lose track of the time...so having it on display helps me not miss appointments. Overall excellent product and would recommend it to others.

Great lamp! Adjusts to any angle. Clear white light. The panel provides instant info on date and temperature. Only problem is when the power goes out, you have to reset the time, date etc.

This product is great. It does everything that it is supposed to do. The settings are easy to figure out and the USB port works great. It was a very good value for what I paid for it.
