This stand works but on can easily tell that it's a knock-off. The original was much sturdier and stable and more expensive of course. One must ensure that the back leg is firmly extended or else the stand can easily collapse. The iPad also tends to slip off of the little pegs on which it sits. I'm not sorry I bought it because it's light enough with which to travel however I will continue the hunt for a more stable one.
