    It worked pretty well at copying the 20year old VHS tapes from the VCR to the computer via the component inputs. :) Too bad just saved as ".asf" files (no other options). My DVD program (pinnacle) doesn't accept ".asf" to edit, so i had to convert to convert offline to '.mp4' using converter on my phone.

          The video grabber cable/software is great to have when transferring older material to digital format. I've transferred over several older VHS tapes to preserve and the video grabber conversion kit does the job without a problem.

            Been capturing all old vhs and Hi8 tapes to my hard drive for preservation with the video grabber cable and software. easy to use and captured files are good quality. A great product to save video memories for future viewing.
