I bought this unit last year and I like it so much that I bought two more this time. It works well with my system. Although this unit splitted up the HDMI source; I don't notice any artifact on screen. It is extremely easy to set up this unit. The back of the unit has one HDMI plug IN - for the original source. There are two more HDMI plug in for the splitted Signal. You needs 3 HDMI cords to connect to different devices to get the system going. Front has 3 lights, one for power the other two indicated the two output units.

Splitting signal from satellite receiver to 2 different televisions. Different hdmi cable lengths and different brands of TV 's. This product does it well, where other products failed to handle the task consistently.

I bought it because I taught from the description I could extend my screen into 2 more different screen but it just make 2 copy of your screen instead.
