It's a plastic flexible ruler. The printed markings already have some scratches to them. The markings also do not go right to the edge of the ruler, which is not ideal for my usage scenario (under a microscope). It's OK, though I prefer the ridig "Westcott® 6Inch/15cm Pocket Style Transparent Plastic Ruler, Model: 41506" over this one.

this product wasn't as good of quality that i thought it would be, but for the money its great.

FALSE ADVERTISING: NOT flexible, will break if bent.
