This simple concept works really well! My wife used it on a 200 km ride and it was really solid. A lot of other riders had ones too, with everything from smartphones to spare inner-tubes strapped on - whatever they wanted. The only reason I would not give it five stars is that larger phones interfere with the strap. So if your phone is not much bigger than the pad it will work perfectly, but if your phone starts getting larger the strap will have trouble staying on the first hook. It will still work, but if you're the paranoid type you are going to worry about the strap not staying on that first hook.

It holds my iPhone 6 very very tight, there's zero chance falling. However, it blocks partial screen, so I move it to the bottom area.
