Ok, ignore my review please. It does work just fine. I wasn't applying enough (wasn't pressing hard enough). I got confused because my old stick has a different consistency from having dried out a bit over the years.

Had this glue stick before. Washes off your hands if needed. Isn't grainy or lumpy. Good product.
