The HDMI extender over a single cat6 cable is capable of extending any input such as a cable box, game console or blueray player to a HDTV at a distance of 164ft. I use this extender to display my game console that is in the basement to another HDTV that is in the family room upstairs. Using the extender eliminates the need of having a game console in every room. The extender works well and is worth the price. I now own 2 of them.

I connected the HDMI extender from my security system's DVR to about 20 60 feet of cat5e in the wall to the monitor downstairs. It worked like a charm when paired with other 3 feet long high-speed HDMI cables bought from Prime Cables. It did not work when I paired it with some cheap extra 5 feet long HDMI cable I had left over from an old monitor.
