I have not used it a lot but it works well. Quite a few options and setting to accommodate most users.
So far I'm a bit disappointed with this unit. It seems like it is a quality printer, but the software support is lacking. A feature I was very interested in was printing cable wraps. The only templates in the unit are for use with 18mm or 24mm wide tape, not the 12mm I commonly keep on hand. Printing a cable wrap label on 12mm tape can be accomplished using the desktop P-Touch Editor software, but if I needed a desktop to print something I could just use my desktop printer.. There is a method to transfer templates from the PC to the brother printer, but transferring freezes the printer (even after firmware update, which is the specified fix on Brother's website) and it must be power cycled after template transfer is (hopefully?) finished. Once powered back on, you can find the template in the printer, but it can't be edited! Thought I might be able to create a layout I liked on the PC and edit the label text without the PC, but this does not look to be possible on the printer. Why?? This is the first and only thing I've tried with the printer so far. The unit seems nicely constructed, but to find such usability shortcomings right out of the gate is disheartening.
