    I had this powering my bedside clock and phone charger, so the first time it had to carry a proper load (laptop charger, 2 monitors, powered USB 3.0 hub) was in early 2020 as I set up my WFH station. I would turn the power strip off at the end of the day (work/life balance, folks!) but a couple months ago I noticed the power switch stopped being reliable. At the start of the day it wouldn't want to stay in the "on" position unless I laid a pen on it for a few minutes, after which point it would stay active. But because I turn off the whole workstation daily, this power strip had to be moved elsewhere so it could just stay on perpetually. So be forewarned if you're going to put this somewhere that will rely on regular use of its switch.

      I'm not sure if this is a real issue with this power bar model, and if it has been corrected as I purchased this power bar in 2019 and have been using it since then. Just recently I have been testing my home outlets and found out that this power bar will cause hot/neutral reversed issues on open ground outlets which is very strange, I have other power bars and extension cords (including other models of Prime Cable brand power bars), but this is only one will reversed the polarity on a open ground outlet, but it's perfectly fine on correctly wired outlet, so to be safe, if you know you have old wiring at home that has no ground, do not use this power bar.

            Build quality is great but the USB ports seem to be faulty. When one port draws more than an ampere of current, the other continuously resets. Both the ports are rated at 2.1A so this should not be happening.
