These 'analogue to digital' converters have been around for +30 years. I heard a huge difference (vs. using an eqt's regular-analogue headphone jack) in a hi-end audiophile place. They costed well over $125.00 on the average. It's price is now very affordable to everyone.

Kind of an old school type of adaptor, but it works all the time.

works great, bought my second one because they are quite useful but admittedly the first one is now holding together with electric tape. Still works though.
