Don't buy this garbage. The vice grip it uses to latch on to things is bent in a way it doesn't grip to anything very well. Also the wire that connects the vice grip to the filter often unscrews itself from the grip, leaving the filter loose.

I bought this because I thought it would work with my Blue Yeti. I took the adapter from the bottom of the mic clamp and the threads don't tighten enough to hold the mic securely, the plastic threads practically stripped themselves when I tighted it. So now I have a useless $15.99 mic stand. Don't know why they couldn't have used the correct standard thread size to begin with where I can attach the mic directly.

I REALLY wanted this to be a great microphone.. it's stylish, extremely well manufactured, and the anti-shock mechanism is brilliant. It looks GREAT sitting on the desk... BUT the self-noise (static) from the recording puts it below my webcam microphone for quality, and that's not a high bar to step over! As a movie prop... 5 stars! as a useful microphone.. save your money.
