    Works well for 10 months and the HDMI keep disconnecting on its own.

      Has been purchased primarily for the HDMI port. When plugged in, Windows 10 says that displaying using this port will not be possible. I have tried it on about ten computers (at home and at work) with the same error. However, the USB and RJ-45 ports work very well.

        Connected this to MacBook Pro 2019 Didn't connect anything to the dongle. Trackpad, External Mouse starts to freeze. Other dongle works fine.

              First of all, if you use your MacBook in closed lid mode (with an external display) and you have your external keyboard/mouse plugged in the USB port on this adapter for some reason the system will not wake up when you press buttons on the keyboard or move the mouse. This is a very annoying to have to open the lid of your MacBook to kit a key on the built-in keyboard to wake up your mac. especially if you're setup like me with external displays and use your MacBook with the lid closed 75% of the time I needed a second HDMI adapter to be able to use both my screen with my new MacBook Pro so I went to the Apple Store and bought the genuine Apple version of this adapter for 89$CAD (100% more than this one) and I am able to wake my Mac from sleep without any issue if the external keyboard and mouse is plugged in the official adapter. I have also had a few issues after waking up my mac from sleep where the monitor that was plugged in the PrimeCables adapter only showed a blue screen and thuis problem could only be fixed by rebooting the system. Over maybe a week of usage this happened about 4 or 5 times, including the very first time I used the adapter with my MacBook. The adapter also get very hot when plugged in the computer even when the computer is sleeping and it's not in use. Overall, I am satisfied that I didn't pay more for this item, it is convenient and shipping was quick but when it stops working i'll probably go back to the Apple Store and buy another of the official adapters even if it's double the price.
