Price is has gotten much higher but it does always work well in my older model printer. You take your chances with the Compatible Cartridges

Expensive enough but guaranteed to work and it's the cost to maintain the brother printer warranty.

The OEM cartridges work the best in my printer and so far have not had any problems

Expensive yes but so far have never had a problem with these cartridges. I did have a few problems with the cheaper type So I guess you get what you pay for.
