    It will probably do the job most of the time, but it's not great. Making it universal creates this situation I assume.

      NOT Universal. Cannot use it to mount either of my LG soundbars. However, they do look quite nice - not cheap looking.

        Easy to install. Could not get the screws tight enough so that the sound bar hung below the tv without sagging. Easily remedied with a bit of string.
