Initial review - sounds great. But I had a question - do I remove the dust cover from behind the grille ? Or is it intended to stay there?

Surprisingly bigger than expected, but that’s ok as they will still fit between joists in the ceiling. They look great! I haven’t connected them yet to check the quality, but will update the review if there are any problems.
