Gives a very wide range making it harder to pinout the stud.

It shows that the stud is much, much wider than it actually is, so it kinda hard to know where the edges are. Maybe I'm not using it correctly, but the manual also doesn't help.

May be useful but not accurate.

Not sure about this. I already own one which is quite some years old. This one says it finds cables which is what I needed but it seems to beep way too much, like my whole wall is full of cables which it is not.

It's ok. Sometimes takes several tries to find the stud
