Although this is meant for a rack mount, you can install it on a solid desk if you pre-drill holes for the included screws. It works very well for cleaning up cable management at the back of a desk with multiple HDMI, power, USB, etc. cables.

Nice metal cable management duct. Do not foresee any issues with this, easy to unclip cable cover (metal) and re-route cables when needed. The screws provided are probably for the nut inserts in a rack setup. I used this with the 3" wall brackets, so having other standard screw sizes included would be nice.
