The kit is great for the price. However, you get what you paid for... The wire stripper's tension is a little too high and it strips the smaller cables inside while you're trying to remove the outer layer. You can avoid this by adjusting your finger strength on the tool. The tester arrived defective; the wires leading to the battery compartment were unsoldered. I asked for a refund or resend of the product and PrimeCables sent me back an entirely new kit! Awesome client service!

Great little kit at a great price. I only bought due to needing the punch tool figured nice to have a kit in a case. The punch tool was not very good quality. The rest of the kit which I didn’t need was pretty good stuff though

I simply bought this kit because the punchdown tool alone was out of stock and this kit was priced reasonably. Be aware that the cable tester is complete garbage, as it's impossible to read the lights when the power light is on. The RJ45 crimp connectors are the cheapest CAT5e connectors, instead of some proper CAT6 connectors (com'on it's 2024!) If you want a cheap starter kit, this will work, but be ready to buy other connectors and a better tester.

The cable tester was not working. The rest of the kit is fine.

Purchased one previously and liked it and then lost it. This set is definitely lower quality with plenty of junky parts but it does work, still I wish the other set was available it was a far better deal.
