The stand that comes with it is flimsy and does not allow fine tuning when you need to focus at high resolution. Also, the lowest magnification is 50, which is probably great for people collecting amoebas, but it's overkill for philatelic or numismatic enlargement.

Unit works god - once you figure it out - the manual isn't for the model I received. The ball joint could not be tightened - had to pt a piece of electrical tape on the socket for the clamp to be able to tighten on the ball.
