The quality was pretty lacking IMO. Lots of kinks in the cable coming out of the box. We'll see how it goes for actually performance.
The product works, but sadly it is incredibly fragile. This was not my first time using solid Cat5e, but this was my first having so many problems with it. Positives: The cable is perfectly capable of being run inside walls while sustaining pulling force and works over long distances, as the Cat5e standard requires. Negatives: The product falls short in its durability. The cable should not be bent, stretched or looped in any way. While this is true for any cable run, you would be surprised how many of those a good quality cable can sustain. If this cable bends in any way even for a small 135 degree bend, it will break. Using standard cable strippers works... Sometimes. The jacket is insanely thin, meaning that you are likely to notch the internal wires while trying to strip. I ended up doing most stripping with a precision knife. The jacket was coated in some kind of white powder for the entire length I used (~350 ft). It would later get on the internal wires after stripping and caused issues with keystone jacks (it did not however cause problems with RJ45 connectors). After my first couple patch cables I realized this would be unusable as patch but figured it would hold up for in-wall, jack or panel terminated runs. It turned out to be an even bigger problem as I had to be extra careful anytime I was running cable in places I couldn't see, and sometimes the additional time taken would be ruined by a very gentle bend while installing a wall plate. Installing a wall plate on the inside of an outside wall is impossible, as the clearance between the drywall and insulation inevitably causes a light bend which breaks the cable. Installing this cable in a drop-ceiling is impossible, as the curve needed to then drop down a vertical wall causes the cable to break. Overall, I had a very bad experience with this cable. I ended up throwing out everything, including whatever was already installed. I installed better, higher quality cable and not a single run broke even through loops and knots.
