I purchased for my friend’s HP Envy printer. Although it should be compatible according to the information provided (HP 65XL), we cannot by-pass the error message when installing this cartridge. I researched troubleshooting steps and none worked. Something listed as compatible should not be this difficult to use. And right now it is just sitting beside her printer.

Although these were the correct cartridges for my HP ENVY 5055 printer and 123ink provided me with work arounds, these were not accepted by my printer. That's the bad news. The very good news is 123inks were quite prompt ans returning the paid amount to my credit card.
