First time I turned it on, it gave an error. I called Canon support, after 20 min of diagnosing over the phone they told me it had an internal hardware error, probably due to its age and to return it which I am doing and getting a refund for this and the ink I bought for it. BTW, it is a massive printer, bigger than the HP Laser one it was replacing and weighs almost 40lbs so be wary of that if you have to pick up your mail somewhere.
