Setting up the cameras and connecting everything was very straight forward. The software and manuals were terrible. Had to figure most of it out myself, especially trying to get the motion detection to work properly. Firmware version in my unit is from a couple months ago. the version available for downloading is from 2 years ago. Check before updating. Playback works well but won't playback anything recorded less than and hour or so ago.

Only the sound is not working ( I installed and wired mic and it is not working not recording sound ), Video is awesome

The camera and the system is pretty good and easy to use, instruction dics and manual is crap
