Purchased two of these quad monitor arms as there was a 15% discount promotional sale. I waited a really long time for that sale which could apply to these quad monitor arms. Item arrived on September 07, 2018 via UPS. Each box was fairly heavy and that to me indicated a very sturdy metal frame. Opening up the one box the main center post was marred and had some dents. The two arms were in perfect shape so the center post needs some better insulation in the packaging. The second quad monitor assembly was in perfect condition so the first one must have seen some rough handling during transit. Setting up the entire assembly was very straight forward and took about ten minutes to set up and everything fit into place. The center sliding & locking mechanism this unit uses is absolutely fantastic as it allows quick and fine adjustments to the height of the monitor arms. The fact this system allows so much adjustment from up, down, left to right, pivot, rotate, etc enables any viewing angle to be used. This mount will last a life time for sure and the material build quality is first rate in every way. Lastly, I received a free 1 amp USB charger from the company but sadly it doesn't seem to work. :-( Daughter indicates when her lightning cable is inserted the phone says the PSU is not compatible?? I plugged my iPhone into the same USB charger but it never worked at all. Ultimately it was the thought that counts and appreciate the token and gesture but the company should confirm the quality of these free give away's as they could hurt the brand and companies reputation.

Very sturdy and well built. I have 4 27" monitors mounted and love it.
