Bought 3 cables and they all have connectivity issues. Third one hit that stage after 2 months. First one was kept in car during winter and phones all had a "moisture detected" error. It was better after it warmed up, but still has connectivity issues in general. Good idea to have a metal braiding, but none of them have lasted. If I were to guess, I'd wonder if there's an issue caused by the metal shielding (and is it possible to solve that).

Charging slowly

Charges my Motorola cell phone slowly when plugged into my laptop. Like the metal coil for internal wire protection.

Love the style & cool weave on the exterior wire. Unfortunately the sleeve/ jacket over the usb part of the plug slips off and doesn't slip back on easily. At times causes problems charging. Looking for a new cord.

As others have mentioned this cable is usb 2.0 and does not support quick charging, at least not with any of my devices. It's a shame because the design and build quality are very nice. I really wanted to like this, but the slow charging speed really limits its usefulness.

the metal braid is not solid. it is like a metal spring housing around a rubber sleeve for the cables wires
