I thought the built-in speakers in my big screen TV were OK, as I am not terribly picky about having the highest quality sound for my entertainment system. However, I do need to be able to hear and understand what people are saying when watching TV, and I found that a lot of content we were watching was difficult to hear properly. I did not want to spend a lot of money on a high end system to get around this ... i wanted an affordable option that gave beeter sound. This PrimeCables sound bar is exactly what I wanted - it delivers much clearer sound than the TV speakers, and it makes it easier to understand speech when there is a lot of background music or sound effects at the same time. I recommend this soundbar to anyone looking for an affordable solution to the same problem.

Not a replacement for a full surround sound system but a great improvement over the built-in speakers. Works well for our bedroom. The right-hand speaker is located in the center, not at the end, but you will not get stereo separation with something 28 inches wide anyway. Mounted nicely with mounts available on this site.
