Cable Tie Tensioning Tool, Cable Tie Gun for 2.2 to 4.8mm width Cable Ties - PrimeCables®
Does not grip the ties after about a few clicks and the breaks them.
pas toujours efficace, parfois le tie tap glisse
Quite useless. Although it does tension the tie. It cuts it about an 1.5 cm from the head, so you're left with a bit of the tie sticking out and you're stuck using a set of clippers to cut the end flush.
TLDR - Does not cut and only marginally more comfortable than using your hands. Given the low price point I pulled the trigger even though other reviews had mentioned it lacked the cut feature... I assumed they may have missed an instruction or it wasn't an absolute necessity to still find it to be a useful tool. Unfortunately I was wrong in both cases. There are no instructions included (not that it's an overly complex tool to figure out) and the tightening feature works, however I don't find it easier or faster than just using your hands. There is no cutting capability so I would suggest that they update the product page to remove the four mentions of it, or provide instructions on what we are all missing. You are better off saving your money and treating yourself and another to a cup of coffee instead while you tighten up your ties by hand.
I may not be using this correctly but I am having difficulty making this work correctly.
Isn't the solution to tighter or neater zip ties. Too flimsy to really tighten them any tighter than you could do with your bare hands. If you really try to muscle it, the tool will jam and frustration ensues. If you want a zip tie tool you'll have to spend a lot lot more for a real quality tool.
