My Brother MFC-L8900CDW accepted this generic toner without an issue. The printer sensed the toner cartridge had been changed. I really appreciated that the labeling on the toner cartridge itself and the drum match the magenta toner. I finally want to mention what the paper insert says: Shake the toner so it is evening distributed before removing the protective cover from the cartridge.

Many different variables have to be taken into account when measuring page yield the industry standard is 5% page coverage which comes out to approximately 2 paragraphs on a page. - Content and type of document printed (Page coverage) - Type of paper used - Type of printer - Print mode and driver setting - Software application used - Conditions such as ambient temperature, humidity and frequency of printing

I have never had a problem with a Moustached cartridge and they are a much more affordable option.
