Many different variables have to be taken into account when measuring page yield the industry standard is 5% page coverage which comes out to approximately 2 paragraphs on a page. - Content and type of document printed (Page coverage) - Type of paper used - Type of printer - Print mode and driver setting - Software application used - Conditions such as ambient temperature, humidity and frequency of printing

These work great most of the time, but once in a while you get one that malfunctions and turns your whole page to ink.
