Only one of the two cartridges that I purchased actually worked with my printer (although both were the same model). Decent yield from the one cartridge that worked, but very disappointed that the second one is garbage.

I bought a new Brother MFC-J6530DW printer, used the original plus one replacement set of Brother ink cartridges, then tried these compatible cartridges. After about 1/4 of the compatible black cartridge had been used, the print head started to plug. Cleaning before each use was required and I was told by Staples techs that using non-Brother cartridges had ruined the print head. Fortunately, I had purchased the extra warranty and it covered most of my cost. The price for the compatible ink is far lower; however, the damage that was done was a far higher cost than the savings for the ink.
