Was so easy to set up and get printing right away. A bit slow for 1st page output, but not irritatingly so. All the features I was looking for in a colour laser MFC. The duplex doc feeder is reliable so far for scanning and copying. The touch panel is great. Need to configure the scanner for scan to email directly from the machine, but in the meantime the desktop app permits me to do this easily and is super fast. The mobile app is convenient to print/scan documents from cell. There are other features I know I'll wonder how I lived without once I have them configured. Durability will only be known with time. Feels sturdy and reliable. My previous model was a Canon MFC colour laser similar look and features that lasted over 10 years, so, fingers crossed! Operation is quieter than the canon. The wake from sleep more responsive. This machine is for work from home scenario with 3 users. I've purchased and managed many Brother monochrome laser printers over the years in an expanding office environment, so I trust the brand is reliable. As with most Brother printers, the drum unit will eventually need to be replaced, however have a long life cycle, and in my view extends the work life of the machine. The other Brothers under management at the office are between 8 and 13 years old and still working well (both mfc mono laser + printer only mono laser) so I have the same expectations for this one. Very happy with this purchase.

Great print quality and gets the first page out quickly. Brother toner is reasonably priced as well. Feature packed.
