Doesn’t mention on the website, but you need to use it with distilled water, or you will end up with an insane amount of dust in your home. (Minerals from the water are sprayed out of the machine along with the water) The auto setting didn’t end up working as planned either. It would continue to humidify even when the humidity was above 60%.
