A lot of effort to assemble and drill holes into the wall for nothing. It will not stay down. Gas rods have way too much tension. Even after adjusting it all the way to the lightest setting.

It sucks you need to have at least 6 feet above your mantel for this to fit. The tv sits above the mount where it attaches to the wall and is always visible just plain useless to me.
