Door/Window Sensor for Smart Home system (LivingWise Zigbee Hub Required) - LivingWise
Works great with Samsung Smartthings using the Orvibo contact sensor device type handler. Cheapest door/window sensor I could find in Canada. Knocked one point off because the battery door is finicky and too hard to open, resulting in a couple of them getting slightly damaged during opening, because the plastic is too soft.
These sensors are very easy to add and configure to the Zigbee hub using the HomeMate app. I have installed several and all of them work well.
I paired them with smartthings and they've been working great for a year on the same batteries.
very functionning, good product
These work well and are set up to notify me whenever the doors have been opened or closed. The only issue that I have is that they show up as offline when paired with my SmartThings hub. They still work and send notifications but it is a bit of an annoyance that they are "offline". The only other issue is that they are not compatible with certain home automation apps such as the Alexa App, unlike the motion sensors, which is disappointing since I would have liked them to have allowed me to announce via Alexa that the door has been opened or closed.
Inexpensive and works, but they constantly show as "offline" on my Samsung Smartthings Hub v3, even though they're still working and show real-time status. Not sure if it's the sensor or my hub that's acting up. I have multiples of these sensors and they show the same "offline" status.
