Kids are really enjoying sitting at the kitchen island. We had only one stool with no back so this was a good replacement so both kids would have their own stool. Quality is good enough. The base is much lighter than I was expecting so it is quite top heavy with someone sitting on it. That said, the base is wide enough that there's no fear of anyone tipping over. Overall I would say this was a good buy at an excellent price (get it when it comes on sale periodically).
