Great little saw. I'm a 70 yr old woman and was looking for a lightweight saw for small,projects. This saw fits the bill for me. I can cut lattice with ease without using my husband's heavy plug in, as well as cutting thinner plywood, 1x4s & 1x6s. I haven't tried it on anything thicker yet but it may run down the battery sooner. I found the battery didn't last long out of the box but I've recharged it since and waiting to see if any improvement.

Now, I am truly free to get the outside and basement work projects done withou having to first go to the garage for an extension cord. Not easy to buy HD-rated cord for power tools as they use more amps. No worries, just to buy a spare battery for longer (all-day) work. You will feel so liberated from the 'grid' to focus on the details.
