Self-Wash and Squeeze Dry Flat Mop & Bucket Kit with Stainless Steel Handle - LIVINGbasics®
Fantastic idea, great price - but it has a single point of failure that almost garantees it will break in few years... I bought that self-squeezing mop to replace a traditional one with a bucket - this one has self-squeeze and nice flat head that works wonders with walls and ceilings. Very happy of the concept and how useful it is. Two things that jumped at me right away when unpacking: the handle is not a single piece handle, but a composite handle made of several elements you assemble like a tent. Not wobbly, but definitely feels a bit cheap. Second much more critical problem I noticed right away: the pivot ball that makes the head rotate/flip vertically can only flip on one side AND it's made out of cheapish plastic. The engineering of it makes is almost garanteed to break after some regular usage - I sincerely hope to be proven wrong, but the plastic pivot head should have been made of metal, and the mop head a tad bit more thick to handle regular use. Will update it if it breaks (or not) after a while - but so far, I am impressed by ease of use, less impressed with the durability design - it almost seems designed to fail after two years so you have to replace it. Time will tell...
nice product
