Exactly what I needed. Had to buy a separate monitor arm for my second monitor due to size & space configuration, so I grabbed this attachment to hold my Surface tablet off the tabletop on the freed up original stand. Easy to install and configure on my existing monitor arm. Note: because the attachment was originally designed as a laptop rest (with keyboard), your monitor arm needs to tilt forward in order to properly hold a tablet as a monitor

The laptop holder along with the "Ergonomics Adjustable Gas Spring Desk Mount" is a great piece for my home office. Its a sturdy but airy piece for my laptop and can see my laptop does not struggle with air circulation when running any high CPU utilization process. Worth buying if anyone is looking.
