While it is too early to say what will happen in the long term. As of this date the results are excellent so far and the price was right.This drum was a replacement for a drum which had expired many moons ago and was reset many times before I got the machine. Total copies when got machine was close to 60,000 so we will see how long the replacement lasts.

When I got it I saw that it said toner cartridge on the box, so I thought that I had the wrong item, but then saw the DR820 item number so knew it should be the drum. Just gave me concern since I needed the drum asap. It seems to work fine but my pages are still kind of grey which I thought would clear up once I installed the new drum. Easy to install.
