    i thought this would be ok to use with heat, but it melted the second , so not recommended

      This isn’t a scraper. It is too soft. I used it to try to scrape food bits off my cast iron pan. It did not scrape the food off. Instead the silicone started shredding.

      Not silicone, or a bad one, dunno. It melted on first contact with hot surface like any classic plastic. I was trying to remove burned egg.
