These look to be very handy. They work well on those thicker plastic bags. For keeping cereal etc. fresh we have been using binder clips but these do a more thorough closure. They seem durable enough to last quite well - only time will tell.

Used it for almost an year and it's still decent. I used it to seal coffee beans and snacks, usually double-folding the bag then using this sealer would made it almost air locked. The long one seals the large size potato chips bags very well.

I like these closure rods better than the clips. Will buy more.
