Sit-Stand Dual-Motor Adjustable ADR Desk Frame, Electric-Black + Ergonomic Foot Rocker PrimeCables®
Un bon produit, pour ne pas gaspiller la table, c'est mieux d'acheter ce cadre de bureau assis-debout.
Functional but it's built to be cheaper to build and lighter material is not used in it. So very heavy
The stand itself has solid construction and feels sturdy prior to setting it up. However, once fully set up, you will notice that there is an inherent flaw. Due to the ‘top heavy’ nature of the frame, a larger table top will result in noticeable wobble/shakiness when in use (e.g. typing, writing, etc.) The reason this is ‘top heavy’ is because they have the motor right under the desktop, and because the way the desk is made, when it rises, the heavier metal overlays will rise up, leaving only the interior metal structure at the bottom part of the legs - this is hard to explain, but if you look at the photo closely at the legs, you can see that the thinner part of the leg is attached to the base, while the thicker part is closer to the top where the desktop would be. Inherently this creates uneven weight distribution. Upon speaking with PrimeCables, there was a lot of back and forth before they ultimately told me this is a design issue with no solution. Given it is heavy and time consuming to assemble/disassemble, they did try their best to come to a resolution.
bought 2 sets couple weeks ago the goods: inexpensive for the features, fast shipping, relatively easy to assemble, and works. the bads: motion is randomly interrupted when adjusting heights with arrow keys (but not with memory presets) on BOTH sets, the anti-collision system seem to have a really high resistance threshold before kicking in.. can probably crush my kid if they aren't careful.. other thoughts: will have to see how long it'll lasts with ~2-3 cycles/day usage
I purchased the white dual motor frame for my partner early 2021, and that one was great. I decided to purchase the black dual motor frame for myself for Christmas and after setting it up I notice that it has significant front-to-back wobble at ALL heights. I have the exact same table top from Ikea as my partner does so I'm not sure what's going on here. Just leaning on my elbows with a bit of pressure while sitting will tilt the desk towards me and as soon as I take my elbows off it'll bounce back. Additionally, I don't remember my partner's white desk having these rubber stops/washers between the frame and the desk where you screw it into the desk (shown in the pictures). The ones along the side of the desk are fine. However, there are only 4 rubber stops along the entire length of the frame and they only support the table top along the center from one side to the other side. Essentially the table is a seesaw rocking front-to-back.
It is pretty good value for the price, this is the cheapest electric standing desk I could find with the memory feature. The only problem is that it wobbles at standing height which is really annoying. If it didn't wobble it would be perfect.
