I actually bought this for myself. I sometimes have issues with my lower back so thought this pad would be just the ticket. Well it works like a charm! It starts off nice and cool, then warms up giving my back soothing heat which loosens my back muscles thus relieving my backache. It sure beats the Icy Hot ointments that smell.

Bought these to use for the cottage, have them in several places for our dogs and they seem to appreciate them. Pressure activated cooling gel works well. We even tried them on super hot nights. They helped to cool us down enough we could sleep.
